Grand Convergence (I)
Let's think outside of the box! We will be converging fabrics with curves using multiple fabrics! We will be using registration marks to bring our curved fabrics together so that they will lay flat. Then we will slice it up and converge with another fabric. Can't wait to see the results! This is a 2 day class.

Class Dates:

Friday, September 6th from 5:00-8:00pm
and Saturday, September 7th from 9-3pm

Supply List:

  • Ricky Tim’s Convergence Quilts (recommended, especially if you’re crazy about convergence quilts.)
  • 1/2 yard cuts of 4-7 fabrics
  • 3/4 yard of converging fabric
  • Freezer paper
  • 50 weight thread, 11 or 12 machine needle
  • Machine in good working order
  • Pressing station and cutting station
  • * Basic Sewing Supplies

Prior to Class:

  • The number of fabrics used is determined by how many cuts you have in your pattern.
  • You can use a pattern from the book (page 53) or draw one out.
  • You can also use one fabric multiple time to make it appear as a background fabric.
  • Prewash fabrics. Best Press or starch fabric with 3-4 light layers on the backside of the fabric. Have your design drawn onto the
