Blessings of Home by Janet Rae Nesbitt for Henry Glass

Variety makes for a mish-mash of fun! See the full collection: Henry Glass Fabrics | Blessings of Home | Janet Rae Nesbitt of One S1ster Designs –> Click Button at Right

You will recognize Janet Rae Nesbitt as the owner-designer of ONE S1STER and as an author of those classic stack-cut-shuffle quilt patterns. As a designer for Henry Glass, her “Blessings of Home” is an eclectic collection that has “October” written all over it (not literally.) That said, it isn’t the least bit surprising that these diverse pieces are made for Nesbitt’s “crazy” books such as Absolutely Crazy, Crazy Kind of Wonderful, Crazy etc…

Stack, cut, shuffle, stitch – Nesbitt’s signature technique.

Nonetheless, patterns calling for an assortment of fat quarters or a bit of primitive style will suit this collection well.

Nine-inch circles, folk-art style – a plethora of applications.

But, there’s more! The panel in this collection presents a crazy bunch of opportunities for expressing thankfulness – hot pads, trivets, mini wall hangings, etc. Wouldn’t it be fun to set a harvest table with coasters as a gift for guests? Primitive and fat quarter friendly is this Cluck Cluck Sew pattern.

As summer lingers behind, “Blessings of Home” makes preparing for Autumn crazy fun. Enjoy!
