Sewing machine (in good working order) fitted with a Ruler Foot

Outer fabric for roll 13′ x 25″ – plain or blender fabric will work well and makes it easier to see your marks and quilting

13″ x 25″ backing fabric – will not se seen

13″ x 25″ cotton batting

9.75″ x 22″ fabric for inside of roll

9.75 x 22″ light/medium fusible interfacing (optional) for inside fabric

Pockets can be make from fabric, mesh or plastic. Fabric is the easiest and takes 1 fat quarter of 2 coordinated fabrics

If using plastic (vinyl) you will need a piece 10″ x 20″

Rotary cutter and 12 1/2″ square ruler if you have one. Cutting matt

6 x 24″ ruler for marking

Fabric Marking tool of your choice – the marking you do needs to be clear on the fabric. Chalk if good but wears off fast

I haven’t used mesh for the pockets so can’t say how difficult that may be. The pattern suggests 1/2 yd each of two fabrics will make the ruler roll, all pockets, binding and ties.
