Star of Wonder (I)
This quilt will get you thinking of Lone Star quilts in a new light. This is a more advance class to the lone star I have been teaching with 32 blocks and multiple size cuts. There are at least 13 different layouts that you can choose from. With everyone's tastes being different, we will be seeing some Stars that are truly of Wonder. This is a 2 day class.

Class Dates:

Friday, August 23rd from 4:00-8:00pm
and Saturday, August 24th from 9:00-4:00pm

Supply List:

  • Judy Martin’s Singular Stars (required)
  • Yardage for Star of Wonder on page 120.
  • Pressing and cutting stations (including clappers)
  • 50 weight thread and size 11 or 12 needles
  • alpha-numeric pins, wonder clips regular and jumbo, and patchwork magic pins flathead or regular.
  • Machine in good working order
  • Basic cutting supplies
  • * Basic Sewing Supplies

Prior to Class:

  • You may prewash your fabric or not. Best Press or starch 3-4 light layers onto fabric. Cut the strips according to the instructions on pages 8-9 and 120. Have them labeled and ready to put into strip sets at class.
